Thank you for stopping by to check me out. I'm Charlee. a Mid-Michigan-based multimedia artist / licensed cosmetologist & esthetician. I specialize in beauty and holistic, esoteric wellness. BACKGROUND
The Styled By Charlee company began in 2016 while attending cosmetology school at the Academy of Style, Marysville, MI. I then furthered my education at the Douglas J. Aveda Institute of East Lansing for Esthiology & holistic wellness. Since then, I've worked in a multitude of different positions within our beauty industry. My work experience ranges from specialized brow design under Benefit Cosmetics to lead spa esthetician & luxury manicurist, custom-mixed airbrush tanning with Tropic Like It's Hot, along with the continued practice of makeup artistry both in a salon and freelancing. Today you can find me providing skin, body & nail services at A Day Away Spa in Downtown Port Huron.
After five years of experience in this industry, the most important thing I've learned is how to genuinely care for my clients by really hearing them out, to make their vision come to life. Whatever project we're working on, I'm going to make sure it's perfected and that the entire process will come full circle to benefit the world at large, as I do my best to source all my products, tools, and wardrobe sustainably, locally & cruelty-free.
